DAF Wastewater Treatment and Sludge Dewatering
DAF wastewater equipment from US Centrifuge Systems provides effective liquid-solid separation and solids dewatering technologies for DAF wastewater treatment and DAF water filtration.
DAF (dissolved air flotation) systems are a means for treating wastewater by removing solids or waste oils. With the wastewater in a tank, dissolved air is released into the water. The air forms small bubbles, which "grab" the solid or waste oil particles and float them to the top of the liquid. Solids are then scraped from the top of the basin. The DAF process can be combined with the use of chemicals to coagulate solids prior to the application of dissolved air.
DAF systems are also referred to as DAF pumps and are used with food processor industries, oil refineries, and chemical plants. Solids from DAF systems are usually wet, sloppy and expensive to handle. US Centrifuge Systems provides an effective means for solids dewatering for DAF wastewater treatment.
