Fluid & Coolant Recycling Systems - Centri-Flow

The US Centrifuge “Centri-Flow” system is a complete pre-engineered "closed-loop" re-circulating liquid filtration / fluid clarification system typically applied to glass, ceramic, and metal grinding coolants as well as other industrial fluids.

“Centri-Flow” systems often replace the traditional floor pit and/or settling tank systems, which typically provide inadequate filtration and can be costly and difficult to maintain and cleanout. Unlike floor pit and settling tank systems "Centri-Flow" systems are designed to provide a continuous and consistently low minimum level of suspending solids and extend the life of the working liquid / fluid while providing a low maintenance and environmentally effective method of separating and handling the separated solids / sludge. Waste Water Processing Systems

Waste water treatment plants for both municipal and industrial applications are designed to produce a clean, safe water discharge, usually to a river. The complexity of the plant will depend on the immediate environmental considerations and the consent limits negotiated with the authorities. New plants built today are becoming more and more sophisticated, and the CQ decanter centrifuge has been used extensively in sludge thickening and sludge dewatering duties. Automatic Batch Sequence Wastewater Processing Systems

US Centrifuge automatic self-monitoring batch-sequence wastewater treatment systems can be used to treat a wide variety of industrial wastewater applications using a wide variety of chemical treatment programs. Advantage of the self-monitoring automatic batch-sequence wastewater treatment system include:

  • Fully automatic batch-sequence process requires virtually no operator attention
  • Fully integrated skid mounted system components and controls for simplified installation
  • Complete chemical and process time variation controls for maximum process flexibility
  • Centrifugal sludge removal process produces a relatively moisture free cake for disposal

Sludge Processing Systems (PDF - 1.5M)

Sludge and other industrial solid wastes are most commonly treated and reduced by either secondary drying or incineration processes.

Drying will evaporate the water content, but leaves the solid contaminant. Incineration will successfully burn off any combustible elements, but must do so at extremely high and costly temperatures.

These processes cannot control the release of dioxins, furans, NOx, SOx, and other dangerous pollutants without the considerable expense and difficulty due to inefficient furnace design, inconsistent furnace temperatures, and failure to recirculate gases into the burner's high temperature zone. Therefore, the addition of after-burners and / or other emission control equipment is required to eliminate the release of pollutants. Gasification is a simpler, safer, and more controllable remedy.
