Services to be Provided by Client

    • Electricity supply (460V, 3pH, 60Hz) with 20-amp high surge fuses for start up. Running current approximately 7.6 amps.
    • Clean dry compressed air supply (3/8" line to connection / 80-psi up to 20-cfm).
    • Suitable hard foundation approximately 8' x 4'.
    • Feed liquid preferably at level at a maximum of 25' from test unit.
    • Suitable receptacle for sludge cake discharge produced. 30-gallon drum or sludge hopper no more than 3'in height is ideal.
    • Centrate gravitat from the test unit at a height of approximately 40" and gravity drains into a 10-gallong catch tank and is pumped back to source.
    • Potable water for flushing the machine and general clean up and positioning adjacent to a drainage point is suggested.

    Site Preparation

As you can see from the sample photographs of the test installations, a protective building is not a requirement, though preferred, except in areas of extremes in weather.

US Centrifuge will provide a trained field technician to set up, demonstrate, and operate the unit as part of the rental agreement.

Start-up Service: On-site start-up service with a US Centrifuge field service engineer is available at $95 per hour plus the additional travel and living expenses. Travel time is billed at $55 per hour. The customer will be required to issue a PO prior to start-up. US Centrifuge will provide written estimates of the travel and living costs upon request.

Note: US Centrifuge is not responsible for any start-up delays due to incomplete installation or process problems when the field service engineer arrives for the scheduled start-up. The time spent waiting and/or helping complete the installation will be counted as part of the included start-up time.
