Now available from US Centrifuge Systems: Upgrade your A242 / A342 rotating assembly to the NEW higher capacity A460 rotating assembly configuration. Exchange your present A242 / A342 bowl-shell, plow-shaft, and bowl-hub with the newly configured A460 bowl-shell plow-shaft and bowl-hub assembly and increase the processing capacity and performance of your late model "42" series centrifuge.

Benefits of the new A460 centrifuge bowl geometry include:

• 12-litres of additional bowl volume adds liquid retention time, which under centrifugal force increases throughput capacity and / or improves separation performance at your current flow rate. Note: The 10-hp drive motor supplied standard on A242 / A342 model centrifuges limits the flow rate to a capacity less than the published A460 maximum flow rate.

• Larger solids holding space increases processing capacity by increasing the amount of time between clean cycles.

• The larger diameter bowl mouth improves cleaning by increasing the area the solids must pass through to exit the centrifuge-bowl and fall into sludge-hopper. This minimizes clean time requirements and nuisance vibration trips.

Upgrading your "42" series machine can be done three different ways:

• Ship your complete "42" series rotating assembly to US Centrifuge Systems for factory installation of the new bowl-shell, plow-shaft assembly, and bowl-hub. Include the upgrade during a routine annual maintenance for added savings.

• Have a US Centrifuge Systems Field Service Engineer install the new bowl-shell and plow-shaft during a routine annual maintenance visit to your facility.

• US Centrifuge Systems ships you the A460 exchange parts and your maintenance staff installs the new components during a routine annual maintenance visit.

• Note: Minor frame modification is required for larger mouth bowl diameters.
